1. Get regular trims
Many people will be surprised when they hear this because trimming hair usually seems detrimental to growing hair faster, but it is necessary if the hair is damaged or has too much hair. The ends of the split end hinder the growth of the hair because the ends are split continuously and intermittent, leaving the hair strands at the same length. Trimming the sparse, split, and dead-end hair can not only reduce the number of breaks, speed up hair growth, but also make the hair look fuller and longer. Make sure to trim your hair every three months, and let the hairstylist “sweep” the bottom of the hair to trim off any fragile ends or dead ends. According to experience, hairstylists should only cut about half an inch to an inch when trimming their hair.
2. Avoid Heat Styling
Continuous heating makes the hair dry, making it harder for hair to grow. We recommend that you let your hair air dry and dry naturally as much as possible, or lower the heat setting product to medium heat (about 250 degrees) to minimize the risk of damage and overheating. But make sure to use a heat protector when heat setting hair, this can increase the protection.
3. Wash your hair as little as possible
Frequent shampooing will peel off the natural oil on the hair, hinder the growth of the hair, and cause the hair to be dry and dry. Therefore, how often should I wash my hair? If you currently clean your hair every day, please try to clean it every other day, and continue to increase the time of the day between each wash until you only wash once or twice a week. This will allow these natural oils to moisturize your scalp and smooth your hair, improve the texture of your hair, and make your hair overall health. Use dry shampoo between the two washes to keep the greasy roots still and test the braids, bunheads, and hats for the second and third day of hair.
4. Hair oils for hair growth
Some hair oils can work wonders, promote hair growth, and help hair grow faster. For example, castor oil contains essential properties, such as vitamin E, fatty acids, proteins, and antioxidants, which support the keratin in the hair, making it grow faster, stronger, smoother, and healthier. If you get this oil, we recommend using cold-pressed varieties (which means no heat is involved in the extraction process). 100% pure virgin castor oil has many other benefits, such as controlling hair loss, cleaning the scalp, fighting infections, preventing dandruff (due to its antifungal properties), conditioning, and moisturizing the hair, and preventing split ends. If you want to use castor oil to promote hair growth, first mix a few drops of olive oil with olive oil, then apply directly to the scalp and massage. Put on a shower cap, care overnight, and then wash your hair regularly in the morning.
5. Use A Silk Pillowcase
Do you have perfect curly hair that wakes up into a mess? Cotton has larger and coarser fibers than silk, which can cause the hair tress to be bound by the fiber when you turn around. This will eventually lift the outer skin layer of the hair, making it prone to frizz, breakage, and damage. The fibers of the silk fabric are small, which can keep the skin layer of the hair intact and will not cause friction like the traditional pillowcase. This will make your hair smoother in the morning and make your hair healthier and longer. If you don’t want to buy a new pillowcase, another option is to tie your hair in a loose hair bun and put a headband on top of your head to avoid tangling and rubbing the pillowcase all night.
